Now perhaps it might not have struck you but there are many toys out there that really do not belong to this world. Just recently I saw this cute make believe toy that actually taught kids how to keep their toilets clean! Yes that is right it included a toilet bowl and even came with a toy toilet bowl brush. I guess some people might be grossed out but if you ask me I think it is a pretty cool toy! In face I am going to get one for my kids if this will mean that they observe good toilet behaviour. Getting ready for xmas

Well almost half the year is up but to me Christmas was just like yesterday! Yes many people say I am the boy who does not grow up because I have many toys and I just love my toys. Christmas is the time of the year when I am happiest because it just gives me a reason to buy toys both for myself and as gifts to the favourite kids I know. Now might be the right time to get some xmas gifts when the prices of toys has not increased much for xmas but the only problem is that the main stars of this Christmas may not be out yet. What I mean is that many toy retailers wait closer to Christmas before they release their blockbusters. But if I were you I would get some Toy Story toys they should make good gifts even though Christmas is half a year away!

Deep Sea Tots

Sonic has recently teamed up with Sea World to come out with little “Deep Sea Tots” in their WackyPacks or what others would call kids meals. The entire set has 15 Deep Sea Tot Toys and there is currently a craze to collect them all just like pokemon! By the way do not be confused because the Sonic I am talking about here does not refer to Sonic the hedgehog. Anyways, if you are a Deep Sea Tot Toys fan I am sure you would know what I am talking about. Not only do they have the Sonic Deep Sea Tots toys but they also have Deep Sea tot cards, Facts on a Keychain and a Build-a-Shamu.

Oh there is more! In each Wacky Pack other than one of the Deep Sea tot toys, there is also a paper with a code. Bobbleheads

This is one toy that I have not talked about. Though it is not really a toy, it sure is a cool thing to have around on your office desk, or maybe on the dashboard of your vehicle. The object of coolness I am talking about is the bobblehead. What are bobbleheads exactly? Well bobbleheads are cool figurines whereby the head of the figure is attached to the body by a spring. The head of the figurine thus is able to bobble or float and bounce about the body. Hence you can give the head a push and the head would be bouncing about. How cool is that? Put it in the car and the motion of the car would drive the bobblehead’s movements. Even better get your own customised bobblehead!

Mechanical Toys

Hello again there toy lovers! For this article I am going to talk about mechanical toys. What are mechanical toys you might ask? I guess the main bulk of mechanical toys would consist of robots. Yes toy robots! Ever had fun with those when you were a kid? Well I guess many people would not forget those days when they would put batteries into these cute toy robots, flip the on switch and watch these robots walk slowly with lights flashing and sometimes making a whole lot of noise too! The problem with mechanical toys is that they always need a power source and this can come no other than from batteries. If only mechanical toys can come to life on their own, now that would make things very interesting!

Collecting Glass Marbles

If you think glass marbles are old school, please think again! The simplest of toys can actually be one of the better toys out there. I know that we all used to play with marbles when we were kids and all of a sudden times changed. Toy makers like mattel and hasbro came up and with computers and the internet people started playing with computers instead of glass marbles. Not to forget consoles such as nintendo DS, PSP, playstation 3, xbox 360 and the Wii! Things have become so exciting for all the kids out there and they need not play with low tech toys anymore. Anyways do no fear as there are still toy fanatics out there who collect old school toys like glass marbles. Heck I still got my marbles from last time too when I was still a young kid. No matter what, as long as you do not lose your marbles, glass marble collecting is really cool!

Toys for the Baby

If your friend has just got a baby, you must be racking your brains like crazy thinking what to get for him or her. Well the him or her I am referring to is the new born baby not your friend. Sometimes it can be tough thinking about the right baby toys to buy for that baby. Things get worse when there are so many baby toys and they are all for babies or different ages. If you ask me, one thing you could get your friend might be a new baby hamper. Yup that is right, you would not need to think too hard about what to get because the baby hamper would have what most babies or new families need, including those cool baby toys.

So far I guess this blog of mine has been talking more about real physical toys than other stuff like video games. If you are a cool dude like me however, I have a feeling that you would be into video games too. Nowadays video games are played like the older man’s toys. There is more interaction with the game now then ever. Take for example the nintendo wii which has taken the world by storm. The wii controller is not like any controller and you can use to to play archery bowling or even sword fighting! Then there is a video games known as the wii fit which comes with a “surfboard” like equipment that lets you balance or even surf! Not to mention guitar hero with the wii guitar! Nevertheless if you are considering getting yourself a wii, I would suggest buying wii bundles instead of separately because these are better deals and comes with both the console and games. Enjoy!

Dancing with the Dungeon Divas

If you are one of those crazy dungeon and dragons nutcase who play nothing but dungeon games both online and offline and even dungeon card games with others, then I have officially certified you as one of those unsaveable folk who are officially a dungeon diva. Well at least thats what I think a dungeon diva can refer to! Judging by this website (main link on the blogroll on the right) is about those who play dungeons and dragons and who are into all kinds of dungeons and dragons stuff. Not to mention stuff such as dungeon tiles which I seriously have not heard of. To the best of my knowledge, these are the tiles that can be used to build your own dungeon or play your own dungeons and dragons.
